The Infiniti FX is an SUV with a length similar to that of a BMW X5. It is a completely new model, not the FX that is sold for some time in the USA

It will be on sale in Spain since autumn 2008, while the Infiniti E (all-terrain less than the FX) and E (of which there are two variants of bodywork, saloon and coupe).

Initially available only FX50 version, which has a V8 engine to 5.0 and 390 hp engine. Later, it will have a V6 gasoline engine. The engine will be coupled with an automatic transmission speeds of seven, with the ability to select gears manually from a cam (magnesium) behind the wheel.
Among the items of equipment which will be set there is a system of access and keyless start, a lighting system with adaptive dual-xenon headlights and a Bose sound equipment made specifically for this model. Another interesting element of equipment is a system of four cameras are mounted at the front, side and back of the body ( “Infiniti Around View Monitor”). These cameras reflected images that are displayed on a screen on the dashboard and that offer a top-down view of the car and its environs. This system serves to reduce blind spots during parking maneuvers and includes sensors front and rear proximity.

There is also a developer of active laser speed. Like other similar systems, it is able to maintain a certain distance from the vehicle that precedes us. The FX is the platform which also has the Infiniti G. The series has a system of traction to all four wheels automatically pluggable (Infiniti calls “ATTESA E-TS ‘Advanced Total Traction Engineering System for All Electronic Torque Split). Under normal conditions is traction to the rear wheels, a clutch can attach the front axle to a greater or lesser extent to do so in solidarity with the rear.
